Why Internet Marketing

As a working parent napakasakit umalis ng bahay na humahawak sa hita mo ang bunso mo kasi ayaw kang papasukin sa office. But then you have to go, just tell them uuwian mo sila ng pasalubong. They will let you go and then they will say their long good byes sa window. Still shouting I love you mommy, bye mommy.

Sino ba naming parent ang hindi gugustuhin na mag stay at home and be with their kids 24/7. Some can afford to do that, but for middle class like me and my husband we have to work and leave them behind. Pray and trust that yaya will take care of them kapag wala kame.

Year after year sinasabi ng husband ko this year will be better. Maybe you can quit your job and be a full time mom sa mga anak natin. But then, hindi pa din namin kinakaya. I cannot blame him but I cannot let him do all the work. We have to work together to make ends meet. But sometimes we get so tired and pray na sana manalo na kame sa lotto. My husband will bet every day and hope to win the lottery. Ako naman taga check kung nanalo na nga ba kame. Kapag hindi, nanghihinayang ako sa ginastos niya para makabili ng lotto ticket. Sayang.

I have always been searching ways to earn real money using the internet. Lahat ngayon online na eh so there must be something there for me. Ang dame di ba? Every one of them promise you 5 digit, 6 digit figure basta you have to pay for a fee first so they can teach you how. Ang hirap magtiwala sa ganon kase minsan pdf file lang pala ipapadala sayo at ipapabasa. They will not really teach you how they do it. One time, I came across IMGURO website. Internet Marketing Site where they have basic video tutorials on how to work your ass out and earn money online. Very simple ang presentation nila. Madali mo lang maiintindihan. I am still trying to follow what they teach on line and do it step by step on my own. Practice makes perfect sabi nga. Hindi ka agad yayaman in a week, or in a month, it takes years. Sabi nga dapat be patient. You have to keep your job and see if in time kumikita ka na dito baka pwde ka na mag resign at mag full time na lang sa pagiging internet marketer. It’s really interesting.

And most importantly be with my kids 24 hours a day and have a great time. Maybe this is for you too.. All about Paleo

What is Paleo?

The Paleo diet is the healthiest way you can eat because it is the ONLY nutritional approach that works with your genetics to help you stay lean, strong and energetic! Research in biology, biochemistry, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and many other disciplines indicate it is our modern diet, full of refined foods, trans fats and sugar, that is at the root of degenerative diseases such as obesity, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, depression and infertility. – Robb Wolf

Okay To Eat Avoid
Fruits Dairy
Vegetables Grains
Lean Meats Processed Food & Sugars
Seafood Legumes
Nuts & Seeds Starches
Healthy Fats Alcohol

Your Paleo Diet Food List

While there’s no need to bust out your hunting spear, it’s important to stick to the basic tenets of the caveman diet whenever you can. “They ate exclusively the wild plant and animal foods they could hunt, gather, forage or fish in their native environment,” says Dr. Cordain.

When cavemen roamed the Earth, there were no processed foods or refined sugars and grains. “Fatty meats such as sausage, bacon and pepperoni and starchy vegetables like white potatoes and corn as well as beans such as black, kidney, or pinto are not allowed,” says Leslie Bonci, MHP, RD, director of sports nutrition at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center, Center for Sports Medicine.

Then there are certain products like walnut oil and extra virgin olive oil, which weren’t available to cavemen, but because they closely emulate the oils our ancestors received from animal carcasses and plants, they’re considered acceptable.

The Benefits of Paleo

You eat unprocessed, real food

Paleo and primal diets consist of real, whole foods – except for some natural but bottled or packaged sauces, condiments and ingredients –  so you automatically eliminate a whole range of preservatives, hidden sugars, sodium, additives, colouring, artificial flavouring and who knows what else. As a result you eliminate unnecessary toxins and consume more nutrients, plus the food tastes so much better.

Paleo diet is rich in nutrients

One of the misconception about the Paleo diet is that it’s all about protein and fat. What many don’t realize is that by eliminating nutrient-void processed carbs – I call them fillers – we supplement with loads of vegetables, healthy fats, nuts, seeds, berries and fruit, all of which are full of minerals and vitamins. Combine that with the improved gut health and increased nutrient absorption which happens through avoidance of irritating grains and legumes, and you get a very balanced diet. You’d be surprised that we can get pretty much all required nutrients from animal, seafood and plant based foods.

Sustained weight loss

Most people experience weight loss and muscle growth while eating a paleo diet and keeping an active lifestyle. Improved metabolic processes and gut health, better sleep, stress management, sufficient Vitamin D and a healthy ratio of Omega-3/6 fatty acids all aid in burning off stored body fat.

Reduced bloat (and gas)

Paleo diet provides lots of fiber, which together with adequate H2O intake and a smaller intake of sodium help to decrease the bloat many people experience on a Western diet. Plus, paleo diet helps to improve the gut flora which is essential in keeping a healthy digestion.

Say goodbye to Hangry

Hangry is a combination of hungry+angry, which is a common symptom for many people suffering from acute or chronic hyperglycemia. This also happens when the blood sugar drops and the person gets a rapid onset of hunger accompanied by irritability, fatigue, disorientation, and a foggy mind. Meals consisting of protein and fat are very satiating. The energy your body gets from fat, protein and some glucose from low GI carbs is released slowly and evenly throughout the day. As a result, the blood sugar levels stay stable and you rarely experience energy drops; hunger develops gradually without the crazy mood swings.

It’s rich in healthy fats

Paleo diet promotes healthy saturated fat from grass fed meat, poultry, seafood, ghee, butter and coconuts; lots of monounsaturated fat from olive oil, nuts and seeds and a small amount of polyunsaturated fats; no trans fats; a healthy ratio of Omega-3 to Omega-6 fatty acids.  The right types of fat are essential in maintaining healthy arteries, brain function, healthy skin, as well as decreasing systemic inflammation.

People following the Paleo/Primal diet experience many of the below benefits:

Increased and more stable energy levels
Improved sleep
Clearer skin and healthier looking hair
Mental clarity
Improved mood and attitude
Improvements in those suffering depression or anxieties
Less or no bloating, decreased gas
Sustained weight loss
Muscle growth; increased fitness
Lowered risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancer
Higher immune function and a general feeling of well being
Improved glucose tolerance; decreased insulin secretion and increased insulin sensitivity
Improved lipid profiles
Healthier gut flora
Better absorption of nutrients from food
Reduced allergies
Paleo diet is anti-inflammatory, most people experience reduction of pain associated with inflammation
Improvements in those with respiratory problems such as asthma

I personally started this diet and in two months i lost 4 kgs. I was so happy with that because i used to go to the gym 3 – 4 times a week, but i will only lose 1-2 lbs in a month. It was like, really? Come on! For a busy mom like me i don’t have time to go to the gym. I discover this diet through a friend and tried it. It was hard specially for a mom like me who needs to cook everyday for the kids. But with discipline and keeping that goal to lose some weight. I was able to do it. I was so happy because i know that my kids were eating healthy, whole and unprocessed foods. They started to gain weight that time. They were eating whatever i cook even when it is vegetable because the dishes i was making was really tasty.

It requires discipline I am telling you because once you go back to your old eating habit the weight will also come back. Just think of it as you just wanted to be healthy and not to lose weight, but if you lose some weight that’s already a bonus.

The challenge was what to cook for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even snack. You have to make a meal plan. It will help you save time and at the same time avoid eating the same dish in a week. To help you better what to cook and what to eat on Paleo Diet, try this

What stocks to buy

Everything will be okay. That’s what I’ve been telling myself lately.

Yesterday my loss in stock market is around Php 4,600. I started to worry. What am I going to do if the price of the stock I bought did not get any higher? What If I lose more money in the next few days instead of earning more? The reason why I invested it is to earn more so I can add it up to the tuition fee that I have to pay for my children’s education. Today before Elmo and I go to his OT session I open the computer and check my portfolio. My loss is now down to Php 2,300.00. It means price is up today. More trading is happening I guess. I hope it gets better everyday. I wish i knew from the start which stocks to buy, when to buy and when to sell. It is truly important you get help from the experts. About a week ago Elmo did not know how to sit still, how to match the same color, or how to say yes, but yesterday when I try to do what her therapist ask me to do with Elmo, he was getting it all very well. He was matching same color, same letter and same shapes. He is now saying yes to a question. Now he wanted to go immediately inside his teacher’s room, I told him NO and ask him to sit still and count 1-10, then he did. Now, I peek in his classroom to see how the kids are doing. Everyone was dancing and singing. Everyone is following the teacher’s actions including Elmo! You see, it helps when you get help from an expert.

I guess there is nothing to worry about.

Today was definitely better than yesterday.

The Benefits of Weekly Meal Planning

Weekly_Menu_Planner

Each Saturday or Sunday, I write out our menu for the upcoming week. But before I do that, I have to list all the available food inside the ref and what’s still left in the pantry. Then, I cross it out one by one while I list down the menu for each day. I find that it makes life so much easier. This is actually helpful when you are on a budget and that your next schedule in buying your groceries is still a week away. Having a predetermined meal plan has a number of benefits. I just write it down in a piece of paper and stick it at the door of the refrigerator. This way my daughter can see it and will have an idea what’s for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She can also condition herself to eat what’s in my plan even if she hates eating it.

1. It reminds you to defrost meat ahead of time so that you don’t have to use the microwave. This is healthier and saves on electricity (ok, not every much, but it does!)

2. When you have something planned and/or defrosting in the fridge, you’re less tempted to eat out.

3. You’re not scrambling last minute trying to decide what to cook, madly digging about in the freezer and fridge wondering what you can throw together before the kid(s) and husband start begging for food.

4. No more, “What’s for dinner?” “I don’t know, what do you want?” “I don’t know, what do we have?” “Stuff, but I don’t know what to cook.” “Well, what do you want?” “I don’t know, what do you want?” in an endless cycle that lasts so long you end up eating late or, worse, eating out.

5. You know what you’ll be cooking so you’ll know when to start dinner.

6. It gives you an excuse to go through the freezer, fridge and pantry each week so you can use up items about to expire and see what items you’re low on.

7. You’ll be able to plan portions so there are lunch leftovers. When the hubby has a packed lunch for work, there’s no need to spend money eating out. It’s healthier, too.

8. It allows you to go through your recipes, pick something new to try or cycle in something you haven’t made in a while.

9. When produce is on sale, you can build it into your meal plan for the upcoming week. That way, it doesn’t accidentally get forgotten about in the fridge and go bad.

10. You’ll save on trips to the grocery store because you’ll know all the ingredients you’ll need ahead of time and can plan that into your usual shop.

11. You can balance out the whole week’s meals nutritionally.

12. If you are a working mom like me, it helps the baby sitter to decide what to cook for the kids. They can eat even if you will be late coming home from work.

Remember, even with a plan, it doesn’t mean you have to cook what’s on the menu; you can swap days or work in something unexpected. Planning is meant to help, not hinder. There are many times that I’ll decide to make something else with the defrosted meat or find we have so many leftovers we can have those one night instead. With this meal plan, I stick with the food budget that we have every two weeks. We don’t overspend for the food that we don’t consume. Remember that you can save your money for some other purpose like investments.
